I fuckin' love my mod for starting with a personal fusion reactor and roboport, BUT I know I love it 1000% more because I played a game vanilla first.

There are a ton of mods that start you with a weak roboport and a few construction bots and I recommend using one, I couldn't imagine playing without them myself, they are an enormous quality of life improvement. This doesn't work unless you have personal roboports/construction robots. Instead of building a line of 20 smelters with one input and one output sorter each, plus the belt lines, make just one smelter with all of those things and then copy/paste it 4 times, then copy/paste that group of 5 smelters 3 more times.

UPDATE: You can generate just enough plastic to feed two of these modules using my compact beaconed plastic refinery.1) Make very liberal use of ctrl-c and ctrl-v to copy/paste. It's almost certainly possible to do better than this, and I'd love to hear your suggestions! Yes, I'm a terrible person who's willing to braid belts to improve beacon coverage.

It produces 600 red circuits per minute, or one quarter of a blue belt. This is my first attempt at a compact setup with beacons! I wanted something that would fit in a smaller base, but which could be tiled 4 times to fill up a blue belt.
